Here is something right up my alley. Cool interactive video/commercial/website by Quiksilver. Cheers to coming up with an idea that fits outside of your traditional banner. The cool part of this is that its so simple to create, its the creative idea that is so hard to come up with.

If you know me, you know my affinity for Skulls, Guns and Tattoos. This work by Scott Campbell has a little of everything and I like it. I hope you do too. Its made of laser-cut one dollar bill stacks.
See the work here.

Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised when a company uses technology, specifically social media to succeed.
Once such case is zappos.com.
I have been seeing them pop up in a few different places, such as in the trays in the security lines at the Jacksonville Airport (see below), which I thought was great media placement, so I decided to give them a chance and order a pair of shoes from them.
The New York Times has launched a new digital news site called The Local. As they say: Your Town, Your Neighborhood, Your Block. Covered by you and for you.
Found it an interesting form of User Generated Content once again.
It just makes sense, who cares more about the news in your neighborhood than your neighbors?

Found this article on PSKF and it brought up a interesting question. Now a days, in today's user generated world, What matters most to businesses? Professional critics or real ones?

Been a fan of Depeche Mode for some time, found this video on Creativty and thought it was amazing. I enjoy art that is dark, and this falls in that category.
Enjoy! or not!

Again, I apologize for been absent for some time. Been faced with the reality of trying to run a business and all the good and bad that comes with it. Sometimes, like I joke at the office, I feel I should maybe open a sandwich shop in Costa Rica or Nicaragua, or maybe start selling Mangos, Avocados and Mamonsillos.
Either way I have some new posts I found interesting and wanted to share with you.
Let me know your thoughts.
Peace.
"Might as well give up!" Was one of the statements over heard in my office today when I was showing the team this video panorama which we controlled with our Wii remote.
I installed a simple WiiFlash server app on my machine. Paired my Wii remote with my computer through Blue Tooth and was able to control the camera movements as well as play/pause with the remote through a website. Pretty bad ass.
Even the control of the camera without the Wii remote is cool.

This is an awesome video. The effect was done with double sided tape and bean bag balls thrown at them with fans.
Pretty damn cool and the song is good too.

Those of you who know me, know that I love Shepard Fairy's (Obey) work and clothing. I think I am particularly inclined to his work because its one of those "start from nothing", ideas/story/business.
Either way here is a video from a talk he gave at the PSFK Conference Los Angeles
